Black glass that webs when worked hot

This colour is part of the CiM colour archive and is not readily available 

• Dense black which is very similar to CiM Hades
• A stringer on the surface of a bead will web and spreads beautifully on the surface of a bead when worked hot but may also pick up wisps of silver in an oxygen rich flame - so sensitive to flame chemistry.

Picture

A core of goldstone under Effetre clear glass with blue bands at both ends. The silver/black webbing on the surface of this bead came from applying a Hades unique stringer that was approx 0.8mm wide and melting it down flat in a fairly hot, slightly oxygen rich flame.

I made this bead in summer 2011.
